Paralegal Senior Analyst

Job Purpose

Provide comprehensive legal support and ensure compliance with regulations for the airport, by assisting in legal research, document preparation, contract management, and coordinating with various departments and external entities to uphold the airport's legal integrity and operational efficiency.

Position Accountability Description

1. Conduct comprehensive legal research specific to aviation law and airport operations, gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing statutes, regulations, legal articles, and case law to support attorneys in preparing cases and developing legal strategies.
2. Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy, thoroughness, and compliance with aviation industry standards and legal practices.
3. Manage case files meticulously, organizing and maintaining both physical and electronic files related to airport operations, ensuring all documents are properly categorized, filed, and easily accessible for quick retrieval.
4. Support the entire contract management process, assisting with drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and record-keeping of contracts and agreements, ensuring they are legally sound and meet airport operational requirements.
5. Assist with the preparation of comprehensive discovery documents, including drafting interrogatories, depositions, and requests for admissions, ensuring all discovery is accurate, complete, and timely.
6. Monitor and analyze regulatory changes and updates in aviation law, informing the legal team of relevant developments that could impact airport operations, and assisting in implementing necessary changes to policies and procedures.
7. Prepare and file legal documents with courts and other relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with procedural requirements, deadlines, and airport operational standards.
8. Support legal counsel in conducting due diligence for transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate activities related to airport operations, compiling and analyzing relevant data to ensure informed decision-making.
9. Manage the documentation and legal processes for property and lease agreements involving airport facilities, ensuring that all property transactions and leases are legally compliant and align with airport policies and objectives.
10. Track and manage deadlines for legal filings, court dates, and other important milestones, ensuring all deadlines are met promptly and no critical dates are missed.
