Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, providing support to clients, and ensuring that all legal processes are followed efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of personal injury law, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and legal professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a variety of legal cases, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines.
- Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information and assess their needs.
- Perform legal research using tools such as Bloomberg Law to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents, including demand letters, pleadings, and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
- Review documents for completeness and relevance, maintaining organized files within document management systems.
- Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy and provide executive administrative support as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with clients regarding case status and next steps.
- Utilize project management skills to coordinate tasks and manage timelines effectively.
- Assist in the preparation for litigation by organizing evidence and preparing exhibits.
Skills
- Proficient in personal injury, environmental law, mass torts, mass arbitration, and litigation processes.
- Experience with document management systems, and legal case management software.
- Strong interviewing skills combined with excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents.
- Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analysis effectively.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in data entry, clerical tasks, filing, and proofreading documents.
- Familiarity with transcription processes and phone etiquette in a professional setting.

Pay: $28,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
