Paralegal/Case Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paralegal/Case Manager to join our dynamic legal team. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing a diverse portfolio of legal cases across multiple practice areas, including personal injury, family law and construction law. Your expertise in legal research, document management, and case coordination will ensure smooth case progression and high-quality support for our attorneys. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your legal skills while contributing to impactful legal work in a collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Assist attorneys with drafting, proofreading, and editing legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Manage case files efficiently to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Perform detailed document review and data entry to facilitate case preparation and compliance with legal standards.
  • Coordinate client intakes and interviews along with interviews with witnesses to gather pertinent information for ongoing cases.
  • Support litigation processes by organizing evidence, preparing trial binders, and tracking deadlines across multiple practice areas.
  • Provide executive administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, answering phones with professional etiquette, and handling confidential information discreetly.

Experience

  • Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in diverse legal practice areas.
  • Experience in drafting legal documents with excellent writing skills; proofreading and transcription skills are highly valued.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Professional phone etiquette for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced law office environment remotely while keeping the other members of the team updated on process. Prior clerical or administrative experience is advantageous.

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
