Position Summary:
Join our dynamic northwest suburban group of companies as a Paralegal/Contract Analyst. We’re seeking a highly motivated professional to support a variety of corporate activities, working closely with our Corporate VP/CFO and Controller. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is passionate about legal and compliance work. You’ll play a key role in reviewing customer contract language, supporting new business, ensuring corporate compliance, assisting with litigation, and managing special projects.
This is a full-time in-office role.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to the Corporate VP/CFO and Controller.

Review, analyze, and approve legal bills.

Maintain and manage a follow-up calendar for corporate and legal matters.

Organize and maintain electronic files for corporate administration and legal documents.

Review, edit, and redline contracts and other legal documents; participate in contract negotiations.

Track and support litigation efforts with President, VP/CFO, and external counsel.

Manage business insurance responsibilities, including claims and COI reviews.

Maintain corporate filings for multiple entities with government agencies.

Independently manage assigned projects, including research, analysis, third-party engagement, data compilation, and report development.

Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned, including finance and accounting tasks.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.

Minimum of four years’ related experience.

Highly organized with strong follow-up and prioritization skills.

Exceptional attention to detail, especially with contract language.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
