Paralegal/Contract Analyst

Position Summary:
Join our dynamic northwest suburban group of companies as a Paralegal/Contract Analyst. We’re seeking a highly motivated professional to support a variety of corporate activities, working closely with our Corporate VP/CFO and Controller. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating across teams, and is passionate about legal and compliance work. You’ll play a key role in reviewing customer contract language, supporting new business, ensuring corporate compliance, assisting with litigation, and managing special projects.

This is a full-time in-office role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to the Corporate VP/CFO and Controller.
  • Review, analyze, and approve legal bills.
  • Maintain and manage a follow-up calendar for corporate and legal matters.
  • Organize and maintain electronic files for corporate administration and legal documents.
  • Review, edit, and redline contracts and other legal documents; participate in contract negotiations.
  • Track and support litigation efforts with President, VP/CFO, and external counsel.
  • Manage business insurance responsibilities, including claims and COI reviews.
  • Maintain corporate filings for multiple entities with government agencies.
  • Independently manage assigned projects, including research, analysis, third-party engagement, data compilation, and report development.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned, including finance and accounting tasks.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
  • Minimum of four years’ related experience.
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and prioritization skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, especially with contract language.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.
