Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Primary job functions:
- Handle calls and inquiries;
- Manage calendar for client meetings, court deadlines, etc.;
- Track and organize legal pleadings, exhibits, and supporting documents;
- Assist attorney with drafting and reviewing legal documents;
- Draft memos and letters;
- Handle/disseminate confidential information and communications using discretion and judgment;
- Conduct research to support legal proceedings;
- Record, organize, store, and maintain client files and information;
- Occasional travel to courthouses.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years paralegal and administrative experience; DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS LEGAL EXPERIENCE
- Friendly and outgoing;
- Solid understanding of civil litigation (state and federal deadlines and rules);
- Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to think and act independently and with minimal supervision;
- High proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, and Internet research;
- Ability to multi-task and work independently;
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills desired, but not required.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
