We are a small, professional, combination fire district interested in expanding our work force. We run approximately 1500 calls annually of which approximately 80-85% are EMS in nature. We operate a 24/7 ALS ambulance service. We offer comprehensive and progressive protocols, excellent equipment, including a LifePak 15 multi-platform defibrillator with 12 lead ECG and capnography. Most importantly, we offer the opportunity to be part of the Turner Fire District team.

Position information: Turner Fire is seeking candidates for either a Paramedic Single Role and/or a Paramedic/Firefighter. This position will normally work a 48/96 shift rotation. Scheduled hours may vary, and change based on the needs of the district. We are looking for a highly energized individual with the educational and technical skill sets to provide quality Paramedic, Firefighting, and/or AO support to our district programs. The highly skilled candidate must be detail-oriented, understand the importance of accuracy in all levels of work, maintain a positive approach to new challenges, be self-motivated and not afraid to ask questions, and enjoy working as part of a successful team. TFD is proud to be a small, combination fire district and we hire professionals who enjoy working with volunteers.

Required certifications: Paramedic/FF: NFPA Firefighter I, NFPA Apparatus Equipped w/ Fire Pump (within two years of hire), current OHA Paramedic license (or explanation of pending certification), Current valid Oregon Driver’s license, ACLS, PALS, and BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification.

Single Role Paramedic: Current OHA Paramedic license (or explanation of pending certification), Current valid Oregon Driver’s license, ACLS, PALS, and BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Salary Range:

Paramedic/FF: $57,758.36- $66,957.77

SR Paramedic: $53,061.24- $61,512.52
