Aixperia is seeking a skilled Parametric Modeler to develop and maintain customizable, rule-based cabinet and furniture models. The role focuses on creating scalable parametric libraries that support designers while ensuring manufacturing accuracy and automation readiness.

Main Responsibilities

Parametric Modelling & CAD

  • Create and maintain parametric cabinet and furniture models for kitchens, wardrobes, and storage systems.
  • Develop configurable models with rules, constraints, and parameters for size, materials, hardware, and finishes.
  • Convert standard and custom furniture designs into parametric, production-ready models.
  • Ensure models comply with manufacturing standards, tolerances, and material specifications.
  • Prepare detailed CAD drawings and technical outputs derived from parametric models.

Design-to-Production Coordination

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate design automation.
  • Support seamless integration of parametric models into Aixperia’s design-to-production software.
  • Identify and resolve modelling issues that impact production, costing, or installation.

Quality & Library Management

  • Maintain consistency in naming conventions, parameters, and documentation.
  • Test models for different configurations to ensure stability and error-free performance.
  • Update existing libraries based on new products, hardware, and system enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience in parametric modelling (cabinetry or furniture preferred).
  • Solid understanding of modular furniture construction, joinery, and hardware.
  • Ability to translate design intent into logical parametric rules.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes for modular furniture is an advantage.

Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving automation workflows.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in parametric modelling or CAD for furniture/interiors.
  • Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, or fit-out projects is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
