Paraprofessional/Administrative Assistant For Valuation/Forensic Consulting Firm

Join a dynamic valuation and forensic consulting firm as a Paraprofessional/Administrative Assistant, where your energetic support will drive the success of complex financial and litigation support projects. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help ensure smooth operations and high-quality deliverables for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate events, sponsorships, and client outreach efforts
  • Manage future marketing opportunities spreadsheet
  • Send calendar invites to professional staff for upcoming events
  • Assist forensic consultants with document inventory of engagements
  • Coordinate legal deadlines and report due dates
  • Format expert reports
  • Prepare engagement letters and conflict checks
  • Print and collate trial binders
  • Assist in answering phones in a positive manner, assist clients, and dispatch calls
  • Prepare monthly Work In Progress (WIP) reports
  • Monitor local monthly billable WIP, set up and modify client files
  • Edit, prepare, and finalize client invoices
  • Prepare client invoices and monthly statements
  • Verify prospects and new business documentation and ensure correct input of information and billing arrangements for assigned clients
  • Handle incoming and outgoing accounting correspondence
  • Post client payments and apply retainers and adjustments to client files

Qualifications (Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

  • 2-year college degree with specialization in paraprofessional, accounting and/or finance preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in administrative/paraprofessional/finance role required
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Adobe, Microsoft Outlook, and QuickBooks Online
  • General math aptitude and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines working for multiple professionals
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with specific deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
