Best Brains Learning Center – Frederick

Best Brains Learning Center is hiring enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Abacus Teachers to work with students ages 6–14 in a structured and engaging learning environment.

This is a teaching-focused role with no lesson planning or grading required. All curriculum and materials are provided, allowing you to focus on teaching and supporting student growth.

Responsibilities

• Teach Abacus-based math techniques to improve mental math and concentration
• Work with small groups of students across different age levels
• Encourage participation and build student confidence
• Maintain an organized and engaging classroom environment

Schedule (Required Availability)

• Wednesdays: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Thursdays: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children ages 6–14
• Patient, energetic, and reliable
• Strong basic math skills
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Abacus: 1 year (Required)
