Part time accountant

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure the accuracy of our financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and maintain accurate financial records and statements
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
  • Support audits and coordinate with external auditors when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA preferred)
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, Staff Accountant, or similar role
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and MS Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Preferred Skills (Optional)

  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Knowledge of US tax laws and reporting requirements
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 per week
