Position Overview
The Part-Time Accounting & Administrative Assistant will primarily support accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), reconciliations, and financial record-keeping, while also assisting with general administrative tasks, human resources projects, and office coordination. This role requires strong accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support:

Perform accurate and timely data entry for Accounts Payable (AP) invoices

Assist in generating Accounts Receivable (AR) invoices for customers

Post cash receipts and complete bank adjustments as needed

Support account reconciliations and maintain organized financial records

Assist with additional accounting tasks as assigned
Administrative Support:

Greet and assist office guests in a professional manner

Ensure office supplies are stocked and available

Assist HR with projects and data entry

Schedule employee lunches for plant meetings

Support general office operations as needed
Qualifications & Skills

Previous accounting experience preferred, including AP/AR and reconciliations

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Excellent organizational and data-entry skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment

Experience with accounting software is a plus
