Part-Time Administrative Assistant (Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Facility)

Hours:

Monday thru Thursday 7:45 AM - 11:30 AM; Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide clerical support to outpatient staff.

Registers and schedules appointments and transportation for patients.

Perform all general office and reception duties including telephone work, typing, photocopying, faxing, filing, and ordering of office supplies in a timely and efficient manner.

Verify insurance benefits for patients and schedule patient sessions.

Maintain billing as required.

Maintain responsibility of keeping all relevant forms and reports (i.e. case management) current and accurate.

Assist with collection of co-pays and deductibles.

Assist Director and other clinical staff as needed.

Ensure that Client Information Packets are accessible to clients.

Qualifications

Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent.

CPR required within 2 months of hire.

Proven strong Customer service/interpersonal skills required.

Must be computer literate and have good typing skills.

Must have effective oral, written, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, hectic environment.

Familiarity of geographical locations of clients and assigned routes.

Two or more year's experience working in a fast pace Business/Human Services office preferred. “Insurance knowledge a plus."

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
