RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ·Evaluate adoptive families and write adoptive home studies.
- Assist with facilitating domestic and international adoption placements (as applicable) including legal requirements.
- Communicate and coordinate with international adoption authorities, other agencies, the State Department, to assist prospective adoptive families.
- Provide consultation and support for adoptive families and domestic birth families.
- Serve as a liaison between adoptive families and birth families, other adoption service providers, or placement agencies.
- Educate adoptive families on adoption issues (international and domestic) and assist with adoption training.
- Supervise children in adoption and write post placement/adoption reports.
- Provide follow up services for families that have finalized adoptions.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- All applicants must have a Christian belief and demonstrated lifestyle compatible with the Apostolic Christian Church of America (ACCA) with the support of his or her local elder or pastor.
- Be at least 23 years of age
- Relevant bachelor’s degree
- Have a dedicated interest, love and sensitivity for youth and families
- Possess good motivational, organization, and communications skills
- Have ability to establish positive working and interpersonal relationships and use a team approach
- Have a commitment to ongoing personal and professional growth

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
