Part-time Aesthetic Registered Nurse

Are you a passionate, people-focused RN with an eye for aesthetics and a love for transformative patient care? Virginia Eye Institute’s Aesthetic Center is seeking a skilled and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our team alongside a board-certified oculofacial surgeon in a rewarding dual-role position.

About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to blend the worlds of cosmetic and medical care. You’ll work closely with our oculofacial surgeon performing cutting-edge aesthetic treatments while also supporting our medical patient population.
This position will be responsible for working side by side with the oculofacial plastic surgeon and staff of the Aesthetics Center to help provide the best possible care for our patients.

What You’ll Do
The candidate will be responsible for offering various treatments including:
  • Sciton laser treatments
  • Botox and dermal filler injections
  • Skin Pen
Clinical responsibilities include:
  • Assist with oculofacial surgical and medical patients
  • Pre-operative counseling and post-operative care activities
  • Medical charting on visits and procedures
  • Follow up with patients through email and phone calls
Administrative and operational duties:
  • Adhering to state procedural regulations and maintaining HIPAA compliance
  • Maintaining the aesthetic nurse treatment areas
  • Equipment and laser maintenance
  • Product inventory and ordering
  • Develop and manage social media content to promote both you and the MD’s practice — showcasing results, building community, and attracting new patients
  • Other duties as assigned by the Physician, Supervisor, or Manager
What We’re Looking For
  • Active Virginia RN license with a minimum of two or more years of experience (required)
  • Hands-on Sciton laser experience is required — candidates must be confident and proficient operating Sciton platforms independently
  • Prior experience with Botox and dermal filler injections strongly preferred
  • Comfortable and confident creating engaging social media content
  • Warm, professional bedside manner with a genuine passion for helping patients look and feel their best
  • Interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, management, and co-workers
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Willingness to invest time in self-education including reading, watching videos, and attending courses
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging situations and analyze data for decision-making purposes
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and confidentiality
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, and more
  • The chance to grow alongside an established and respected oculofacial surgery practice
  • Access to industry-leading aesthetic technology and treatments
