Part Time After School Art Teacher

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role as an After School Art Teacher traveling to different schools in Monticello, St. Michael, Annandale, St. Cloud. As an After School Art Teacher, you will inspire and guide students in exploring their creativity and artistic potential through engaging art activities. Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting art lessons, providing constructive feedback, and creating a supportive learning environment where students can express themselves through art.

Class start times vary by location but can be anywhere between 2:00-4:10pm. Classes are 1 hour. Get paid for set-up/clean-up time and teaching time (1.5 hours per class).

Qualifications

• Prior experience in art education or working with children in a teaching capacity
• Strong passion for art and helping students unleash their creativity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds

A valid driver’s license and the ability to transport and store supplies.

Training pay rate is $15 per hour. Teaching pay rate is $22/hr

Get paid mileage one way from your home to the school for distances over 15 miles.
