Part-Time Anti-Crime Plainclothes Specialist $44.26 per Hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Ability to detect suspicious / criminal behavior.
2. Effectively communicate / relay key points of information to Watch Commander and Casino personnel as needed.
3. Ability to think analytically and logically.
4. Ability to make good, sound decisions under stressful situations.
5. Ability to maintain / manage confidential information.
6. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
7. Testify in court as needed.
8. Be able to walk/stand/sit throughout the entirety of a scheduled shift.
9. Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by their supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Work Experience Required: At least 10 years of analytical and investigative experience in law enforcement or related field; Active or Retired Law Enforcement Officer in good standing preferred.

Possession of a valid California Concealed Carry Permit or valid Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) permit preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Note: This position is not likely to interact with the public as a standard in the course of its duties.

1. Must be able to speak, read, and understand the English language.
2. Current California driver license.
3. Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
4. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position.

SCHEDULED HOURS

Commerce Casino operates 24 hours, 7 days a week. Schedules may vary depending on business needs.
