Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and motivated AP Chemistry tutor to deliver in-person tutoring to high school students. The ideal candidate will make challenging chemistry concepts approachable while building students' problem-solving skills and exam readiness.Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring sessions covering the full AP Chemistry curriculum
• Teach topics including stoichiometry, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, kinetics, and equilibrium
• Walk students through AP-style calculations, laboratory questions, and free-response problems
• Identify and address individual gaps in understanding through targeted practice
• Provide feedback on student performance and communicate progress to families

Requirements

• Strong background in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience tutoring, teaching, or demonstrating chemistry concepts preferred
• Thorough understanding of the AP Chemistry exam structure and content
• Comfortable explaining quantitative problems step-by-step with clarity
• Organised, reliable, and committed to student success
