Part Time AP Physics/AP Calculus Teacher

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable AP Physics or AP Math instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a strong background in assisting students in achieving their academic goals. This role involves providing personalized tutoring/class sessions to help students prepare for various tests, ensuring they develop the necessary skills and confidence to succeed.

Duties

  • Conduct individual and group tutoring sessions as well as classes focused on test preparation strategies and content review.
  • Develop customized lesson plans and curriculum tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with educators to track student performance and address any challenges.
  • Stay updated on the latest test formats, content changes, and educational best practices.

Experience
Candidates should possess a background in education or related fields, with experience that may include:

  • Classroom teaching
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations, including those preparing for standardized tests.
  • Strong writing skills, including creative writing abilities that can aid in developing engaging instructional materials.
  • A Bachelors degree from a university or college is required
