Part-time Architect fitout Specialist

Job Type: Part-time / Contract Industry: Construction – Fitout & Interior Works We are expanding our design capability and looking for a senior architect to support us on a part-time basis. Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced architect specialized in fitout projects to handle design, drawings, and client-facing meetings. The role suits a senior professional who can deliver creative, high-quality design work independently and is available to attend meetings in Abu Dhabi when required. Key Responsibilities Develop architectural and fitout design concepts for commercial, retail, and residential projects Produce detailed design drawings, layouts, and 3D visualizations Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and clients Attend design and client meetings in Abu Dhabi Ensure designs comply with UAE municipality and authority regulations Provide creative, out-of-the-box concepts that differentiate our projects Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent) Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in fitout projects in the UAE Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and design excellence Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3D rendering software Solid knowledge of UAE codes, municipality approvals, and fitout regulations Excellent communication skills (English required, Arabic a plus) Based in Abu Dhabi or able to attend meetings there regularly Preferred Candidates with their own small design team are welcome to apply Experience with high-end commercial and retail fitouts Society of Engineers UAE registration What We Offer Flexible part-time engagement Competitive compensation based on experience and project scope Long-term collaboration on a steady pipeline of projects How to Apply Submit your CV and portfolio through Indeed.
