Part-Time Art Teacher (12 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

· Plan and teach IB Visual Arts according to the 2027 curriculum requirements

· Guide students through the assessed components (including inquiry, process documentation, and resolved works)

· Support development of technical skills, conceptual understanding, and personal artistic voice

· Prepare students for internal assessment and external moderation under the updated criteria

· Provide ongoing formative feedback and maintain accurate assessment documentation

· Organize and curate student exhibitions

· Foster critical thinking and language skills through art projects

· Participation in conferences and school activities

· Conducting parent teacher meetings

· Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices

Requirements:

· Degree in Fine Arts, Art Education, or related field

· Minimum 2 years of teaching experience

· Previous IB experience will be an added advantage

· Strong understanding of inquiry-based learning and contemporary art practices

· Very good knowledge of the English language, spoken and written

· Excellent communication and organizational skills

· Knowledge of German is an advantage

· Ability to work in a multicultural environment

· Sense of responsibility, ability to cope with stress

· Very good IT knowledge required

· Experience in conducting digital teaching sessions

· Motivation for further training
