Part-time Assistant Controller

National Trade Productions, Inc. (NTP) is a respected leader in the trade show industry with 50+ years of proven success. We’re currently seeking a Part-Time Assistant Controller to partner closely with our Controller and play a meaningful role in our financial operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys hands-on work, values accuracy, and is looking for a flexible, hybrid role with a stable, well-established organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and reconcile monthly financial statements and workpapers for corporate and various individual shows.
• Maintain and monitor general ledger activity
• Assist with budget preparation, tracking, and variance analysis using Adaptive Insights
• Generate and analyze financial and management reports
• Support accounts receivable, payable and collections processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting

Experience:

• Proficiency with automated accounting systems and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables
• Experience in cost and/or project accounting
• Strong working knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently
• Team-oriented mindset with clear, professional communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, plus 7–10 years of relevant experience
