Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of dental conditions using general dentistry techniques.
- Perform dental procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and explain procedures clearly to patients.
- Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results accurately.
- Maintain accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver comprehensive patient care using four-handed dentistry methods.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care.
- Adhere to all medical documentation standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Skills
- Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry, including working with pediatric patients and pediatric-specific procedures.
- Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Ability to utilize medical imaging equipment effectively for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical records management.

Pay: $78,324.55 - $94,326.35 per year
