Part-Time Attorney

Heavner, Beyers & Mihlar, LLC, a creditor rights and debt collection law firm, is seeking a part-time attorney to cover court calls in Chicago on Fridays and Saturdays.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a licensed Illinois attorney to appear on behalf of our client in all matters related to:

- Municipal utility collection proceedings

- Administrative fine hearings

- Any and all related municipal collection matters

The selected attorney will work closely with our Operations Manager to coordinate appearances, case preparation, and reporting.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Active Illinois law license in good standing

- Experience in municipal law, collections, debt recovery, or administrative hearings preferred

- Familiarity with Municipal Court is a plus

- Strong courtroom presence and ability to work independently

- Reliable availability on Fridays and Saturdays

COMPENSATION:

Competitive; commensurate with experience. Please include rate expectations with your inquiry.
