Seeking AM shifts, but with some PM availability.

Duties

• Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously during banquets, receptions, and special events.
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, and service stations.
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards.
• Buss tables promptly after service, ensuring a clean and organized dining area for guests.
• Engage with guests positively to enhance their experience, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with event staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service flow from start to finish.
• Maintain proper food safety practices throughout all stages of service, adhering to health regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
• Knowledge of culinary techniques, food handling procedures, and food safety standards is a plus.
• Strong guest services skills with a focus on guest relations and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and energetic demeanor.
• Experience in catering or banquet service is advantageous; hotel or restaurant experience is highly valued.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
