Part Time Barista

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Part Time Barista to join our new vibrant Coffee Kiosk team. In this role, you will craft high-quality coffee beverages, serve and prepare fresh toasted bagels, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a beloved local destination while honing your skills in coffee preparation and retail service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and bagels efficiently and accurately using a POS system. (NCR Counterpoint experience a huge plus)
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly assistance to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kiosk area and food prep stations in accordance with food safety standards.
• Handling sales transactions and operating cash registers.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure the kiosk is fully stocked throughout shifts.
• Follow food handling procedures and safety protocols diligently during food preparation and serving.

Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED certification or equivalent education or experience.
• Valid Oregon Food Handler's Card required.
• Previous barista experience required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Team first mindset.
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Ability to organize and effectively prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is highly desirable.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
