Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service to ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
• Handle food preparation tasks including basic food safety practices and food handling procedures
• Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and retail math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards and food safety protocols
• Assist in inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring quality control during food service and serving activities

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling practices
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks
• Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members seamlessly
