Part-time Barista

Red Silo Coffee Roasters has a drive through location in Longmont. We are looking for a barista to join our team at this location!

We are a local Coffee Roaster with several metro area cafes and a loyal clientele who are passionate about coffee. We serve traditional espresso drinks, coffee, cold brew, energy beverages and tea as well as pastries and an assortment of food items.

We are looking for candidates that:

• Have strong customer service skills and enjoy engaging with customers
• Are available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays - and who are punctual!
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and outgoing communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift

Pay: $15.50 per hour plus tips (expected to be $3 - $5 per hour)

Expected hours: 10-20 per week

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Barista (or food service) experience - drive through a plus!
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team & build relationships
