Part Time Barista & Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers in a fast-paced café environment. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver outstanding customer experiences will be key to our success.

This is a part time position. (Thursday & Friday 7:00am to 3:00pm, Saturday 10:00am-2:00pm)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food preparation.
• Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and restocking as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in a café or food service environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• A commitment to food safety practices and maintaining a clean workspace.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
