Part-time Barista & Retail Position

Part-Time Barista located in the café of a Home Decor Shop

A.MANO Brooklyn is seeking a part-time barista with a ton of energy and a great sense of humor to staff our Prospect Heights cafe. We are looking to hire immediately for Fall 2026/Holiday season and encourage all qualified candidates to apply!

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a café barista you will report directly to the Cafe Manager and will be responsible for all café related operations. This includes but is not limited to:

• Opening and closing the café according to defined procedures.
• Preparing customer drinks to order
• Customer Relationship Management, Sales and Transactions
• Inventory Management and Stockroom Assistance
• You may occasionally be asked to step in to assist with retail sales during holiday rushes and events. Retail shifts on the weekends.
• Assist with Craft Events

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years Customer Service & Boutique Sales Associate Experience
• 4+ years Barista experience in a busy café environment
• Experience with POS (Shopify & Toast) systems responsible for performing transactions
• Must enjoy working with and meeting customers and team members.
• Willing to show up in a neat and professional manner in accordance with the store management’s dress code.
• NYC Certification in Food Protection
• Positive Attitude!
• Self-sufficient, great work ethic and problem solving capabilities
• Kindness and a sense of humor

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
