Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Use POS systems such as Aloha/Toast POS or Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs with precision.
• Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to deliver seamless service.
• Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha/Toast POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions accurately.
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to beverage service.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
