Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and promote sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha/Toast POS or Micros POS to process orders, handle cash transactions, and manage tabs with precision.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication.
- Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth service during busy hours.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering, banquet events, or nightclub functions to deliver seamless service.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to serve multiple guests promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha/Toast POS or Micros POS is highly preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic approach to engaging guests.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions accurately.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding legal requirements related to beverage service.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively.
