Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and personable Part-Time Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-end hospitality and a commitment to providing personalized service. At Waynesborough, bartending is about more than mixing drinks; it is about building long-term relationships with our membership and upholding our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Member Service: Greet members by name and provide attentive, professional service. Maintain a working knowledge of member preferences and "usual" orders to provide a personalized experience.

Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established WCC recipes and presentation standards.

Dining Support: Take food orders at the bar and coordinate with the kitchen and floor staff to ensure timely delivery and a seamless dining experience.

Bar Operations: Manage opening and closing duties, including restocking inventory, preparing fresh garnishes, and ensuring the bar area is organized and "stage-ready" at all times.

POS Management: Accurately enter orders and process member charges using the JONAS system, ensuring all chits are closed to the correct accounts.

Facility Standards: Maintain uncompromising cleanliness of glassware, bar tools, and service surfaces throughout the shift.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in a private club, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in classic cocktail preparation, wine service etiquette, and draft beer. Experience with JONAS or similar POS systems is a plus.

Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements: Must possess or be willing to obtain RAMP and ServSafe certifications.
