Part-time Bartender

Saint Errant Brewing Company is looking for friendly, reliable bartenders to join our taproom team. This is a part time position that could turn into a full time position. This role is all about hospitality—delivering great service, knowing our beer, beverage and snack options and creating a welcoming experience for every guest. This is a community-focused taproom, that welcomes everyone.

Duties

- Greet guests and provide attentive, friendly service

- Check customer identification and confirm legal drinking age is met

- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including beer, cider, mocktails, and wines

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, and providing recommendations

- Candidates must be professional, dependable, enthusiastic and friendly

- Prior beer knowledge to answer guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and polite manner

- Handle credit transactions accurately and efficiently

- Ability to work independently or as a team

- Clean the bar in accordance with company standards, stock bar items and maintain overall cleanliness at all times

- Adhere to all safety and sanitation policies when handling beverages and snacks

- Lift and change kegs when needed

- Perform all opening/closing duties correctly

- Maintain a trustworthy, respectful and positive attitude

- Maintain a high-level of personal hygiene and appearance

- Flexible when scheduling shifts and willingness to work nights and weekends

- Must be reliable and punctual

Qualifications

- Previous experience working as a bartender in a brewery or craft beer bar

- Proficiency in using POS systems - Square is a plus

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods

Requirement

- Prior bartending experience and beer knowledge are required

- Must be 21 years of age

- Must be able to lift 50lbs

- Must have reliable transportation to and from work

- Must have night and weekend availability

- Must be ServSafe/BASSET alcohol certified or willing to complete within training period

Compensation

- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

- Pay: $12.62 per hour + Tips
