Part-time Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment, whether in a restaurant, nightclub, or banquet setting. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing bar operations, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
• Manage the Aloha POS system for processing orders and handling cash register transactions efficiently.
• Provide excellent hospitality by engaging with customers, taking drink orders, and delivering timely service.
• Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred; experience in a nightclub or banquet setting is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests and team members.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, garnishes, and cocktail preparation techniques is beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the business needs.
