Part Time Bartender

The Hilton Garden Inn Charlotte/Ayrsley is looking for a Part Time Bartender to primarily work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepares standard mixed drinks, pour wine and beer and serves food to guests seated at the bar.
• Presents drink menus, makes recommendations and answers questions regarding beverages.
• Prepares garnishes for drinks and replenishes snacks, appetizers.
• Maintains bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
• Receives and serves food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Assists with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Fills in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the F&B supervisor.
• Performs other duties as required within the scope of responsibility.

Knowledge of POS Systems (Micros)

Education and/or Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of experience bartending is preferred but not required. Outgoing personality, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
