Part-Time Bartender/Front Desk

Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Good Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage and tips. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons.

Responsibilities and Skills:
- Prepare and serve beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed

- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons

- Assessing bar customers’ needs and preferences and making recommendations

- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails

- Plan and present bar menu

- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks

- Clean glasses and bar utensils

- Balance cash receipts to record sales

- Greet customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and handle basic cleaning duties

Experience:
- Experience in a nightclub, catering, banquet, or retail environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of basic math and retail math principles
- Familiarity with Micros POS or similar Point of Sale systems is a plus
- Previous experience in the food service industry is advantageous
