Part-time Bartenders

We are looking for a part-time bartender that thrives in a fast-paced neighborhood environment and is a team player that creates a memorable experience for our guests that makes them want to return as regulars.

About Us

Foxhole Craft Beer Shop & Kitchen is a new fast casual restaurant in Shorewood, WI. Our goal, with your help, is to create a neighborhood gathering place where our patrons can enjoy a quick bite to eat when they have a break in their busy lives. We feature 16 rotating craft beer drafts sourced from across the US, a full bar, and a concise cocktail program. Our menu consists of a small but quality selection of appetizers and handhelds that traditionally pair well with beer. Think along the lines of a southern style fried chicken sandwich or a twist on a classic Cuban. Additionally, we feature fresh salads that are accompanied by our house made dressings for those seeking lighter fare.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests
• Operate the POS system (Toast) and collect payment
• Prepare and serve a variety of craft beers, cocktails, and wines
• Assist guests in their decision making process upon request
• Restock retail shelves
• Be knowledgeable about our food offerings and serve them to guests
• Learn new beverage offerings as they become available and convey what sets them apart from each other
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the restaurant
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
• Work collaboratively and professionally with other team members to ensure a successful service
• Check IDs to ensure legal consumption

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience is preferred
• A strong knowledge of beer styles and classic cocktails is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Must be willing to obtain a Shorewood bartender’s license upon hire if you do not already have one
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Must have reliable transportation and be available Tuesday nights
• Must be at least 21 years of age
