Part-Time Before & After School Nanny Needed for Busy Household in Edina

Location: Edina, MN
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30am–8:30am & 4:30pm–6:30pm (20 hours/week total)
Number & Age of Children: 2 children – 6.5-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl
Compensation: $25–$28/hour, depending on experience
Start Date: End of March 2026
Commitment: Long-term; minimum 1 year with preference for 2+ years

Legal Pay: Yes, via W-2! You will be employed through Nurturing Nannies, paid weekly via direct deposit.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking a highly punctual, reliable, and engaging nanny who truly enjoys working with children and can confidently manage the before and after school rush. You should be a self-starter, a clear communicator, and able to stick to a consistent routine while bringing warmth, structure, and joy to our kids’ day. Someone fully vaccinated is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the morning routine: breakfast, getting dressed, and out the door on time
• School/daycare drop-off and pickup
• Start dinner
• Provide a smooth, structured transition back home in the afternoons

Pets:

Yes, one chihuahua (no care needed, but nanny must not be allergic or fearful of dogs)

Qualifications:

• CPR and First Aid Certification (proof required)
• Fully Vaccinated
• Minimum age: 18 years
• High School Diploma or GED
• Legal work authorization in the U.S.
• At least 3 years of paid childcare experience
• Background check required
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Auto insurance, proof required (family will pay any extra coverage if needed)
• Ability to provide 3-5 professional references
• Ability to commit for at least one year, preferably 2+ years
• True Passion for working with children
• Strong time management, reliability, and professionalism
• This family is not open to a nanny bringing their own child
