Part-time Bookkeeper

Job Summary
Looking for a nice balance between working from home and an office setting? E3 Case Managers is offering a part-time hybrid bookkeeping position that's only two days a week in the office.

Join our dynamic team as a part-time bookkeeper and play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records for our organization. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your expertise in accounting software and financial concepts to ensure seamless bookkeeping operations. You will be supporting a 3rd-party CPA firm who is responsible for completing E3's end-of-the-year taxes by managing day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing essential reports. Duties

  • Manage and record financial transactions using QuickBooks accounting software
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to ensure accuracy across all financial data
  • Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and handle payroll functions efficiently
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, account reconciliations, and general ledger reconciliation to maintain data integrity
  • Assist with budgeting processes, financial report writing, and ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
  • Support governmental accounting requirements and maintain detailed documentation for audit purposes
  • Execute double-entry bookkeeping practices, manage debits & credits, and perform account analysis to uphold precise financial records

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-years bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Proven experience with QuickBooks accounting software
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, non-profit accounting practices, and governmental accounting standards
  • Knowledge of GAAP regulations, bank reconciliation procedures, and financial concepts including double-entry bookkeeping.
  • Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger accounting with accuracy.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget preparation.
  • Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial reports and conduct account analysis effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial and patient-related information with strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
