Part Time Bookkeeper for Art Academy Franchise

We are preparing to franchise Maureen Claffy Art Academy and looking for a bookkeeper to set up a class accounting system. This will need to function on a local and franchise level. Strong candidates should have a background in accounting and financial operations. This is project-based work but there is an opportunity to take on more responsibilities moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Set up bookkeeping system for a new children's enrichment franchise, considering corporate and franchisee needs and experiences
• System needs to allow us to:
• Categorize income and expenses
• Assist with payroll coordination
• Generate financial reports
• Track revenue by class, program, and location
• Maintain organized financial documentation

Required Qualifications

• Bookkeeping or accounting experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Extremely detail oriented
• Comfortable learning new software and systems
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience with Excel and Google Sheets
