Part time bookkeeper- Real Estate

Join our dynamic real estate team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper, where your expertise will keep our financial operations running smoothly and accurately. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment, independently handling property accounting, financial analysis, and reporting. We’re seeking a motivated individual with a passion for detail-oriented work and a strong background in real estate accounting. Note: This is a hybrid position requiring on-site presence three to four days a month.

Duties

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including data entry, journal entries, and account reconciliations using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
• Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger accounting to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, lease agreements, mortgage payments and any related assigned work directed by management.
• Prepare financial reports as per standards.
• Conduct account analysis and general ledger reconciliation to maintain precise financial data.
• Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and revenue streams specific to real estate operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience with real estate bookkeeping and property management.
• Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, balance sheet reconciliation, and account analysis.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently

Pay: $50,000.00 - $62,503.13 per year
