We are seeking an experienced Business Development & Referral Marketing Representative to grow our private-pay client census through strategic community partnerships and referral relationships. This role is ideal for someone who already has relationships within the senior care industry and understands how to generate referrals from healthcare professionals, veteran organizations, and long-term care insurance networks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with:
- Long-Term Care Insurance agents and claims specialists
- Veteran organizations and VA referral sources
- Elder law attorneys
- Financial planners and estate planning professionals
- Hospital discharge planners
- Skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities
- Assisted living communities
- Home health and hospice agencies
- Geriatric care managers
- Senior centers and community organizations
- Conduct in-person visits, presentations, and networking activities
- Educate referral partners about Synergy HomeCare services
- Attend community events, senior expos, and networking functions
- Track referral activities and maintain CRM records
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into active private-pay clients
- Meet monthly referral and census growth goals
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of healthcare marketing, senior care marketing, home care sales, or community relations experience
- Existing relationships with referral sources in the Chicago market
- Home care, hospice, home health, or assisted living industries
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Reliable transportation for local travel
