Part-time Candy Production Associate

marzipops is an artisan candy business specializing in delicious and playful almond marzipan treats. We color, cut and craft all our candies by hand, and we ship them to stores and retail customers across the country.

We are looking for reliable part-time Candy Makers, also known as Candy Production Associates. Seasonal work also an option.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare marzipan for candy production, including weighing and coloring.
• Follow design procedures for creating candies, including rolling, cutting, embossing and painting.
• Prepare packaging materials, including boxes, bubble wrap sheets and cellophane bags.
• Package candy for shipping, including filling bags, labeling, sealing, packing into cases, and consolidating for shipping

• Manual dexterity and precision in shaping small, detailed items with your hands
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow techniques consistently in a fast-paced environment
• Time management skills to meet production deadlines
• Organization skills for multiple projects
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Comfortable standing for periods of time
• Love to make candy!

Additional Notes:

• No formal experience required but preference for experience in arts, crafting and/or food service.

• Mornings preferred, but weekday and weekend hours available

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
