Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Part-Time Caregiver to provide exceptional elderly care and childcare support. you will assist with daily activities, ensure safety, and promote well-being for both seniors and children in a supportive home or community setting. Duties

• Assist with activities of daily living (dementia) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary
• Monitor residents’ health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
• Support medication administration following HIPAA guidelines and care plans to ensure proper patient care
• Engage children and seniors in stimulating activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
• Maintain a clean, safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of living spaces
• Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia or developmental disabilities such as Alzheimer's disease

Skills

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of patient monitoring, vital signs measurement, and basic nursing skills including CPR and first aid certification
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges
• Ability to assist with mobility using Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices safely
• Strong observational skills to monitor patient condition and respond promptly to emergencies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare teams, and residents
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and supporting active caregiving tasks while maintaining compassion and patience
