Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the cash register, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all stock is properly displayed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic knowledge of retail math for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting as needed for stocking purposes.
