Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide incredible customer service, greeting customers and answering questions in a friendly manner. Proactively offering assistance and providing accurate and timely information, making product and or service recommendations and accommodating special request. Includes taking cake and donut orders accurately.
• Ensure cleanliness of bakery counter, storage area, and work are for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of spills or hazardous debris from floor and sweeping.
• Maintain showcases by stocking bakery department; includes presentation of product, facing, filling and organization of all product items as well as ensuring tag and pricing accuracy.
• Examines the rotation of all bakery products paying particular attention to expired stock and discarding outdated and spoiled items.
• Possess organizational skills, prioritizing requests and department activities while managing interruptions and attending to details to complete tasks within deadlines. Ability to multitask.
• Working with team members to efficiently complete tasks throughout the department, communicating any concerns or issues with front end manager. Must be able to support and contribute to team goals.
• Ability to adapt to the ever changing high volume retail while working in a cross-functional team environment. Must have the capacity to take initiative when problems arise and the flexibility to adapt in a variety of situations.
• Recognize and seek opportunities for continuous learning to gain new understandings, skills and knowledge.
• Follow all safety and food safety regulations when performing duties in and around the department and when preparing and handling all products.

Thursday 10 AM- Close

Saturday 10AM- Close

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
