Part Time Cashier / Entry Level Barista

We are a specialty cafe and patisserie located in South San Francisco looking for the next rockstar to join our tight-knitted team! This job will be located 80% of the time in SSF and 20% of the time in our Millbrae location.

Non-negotiable - must be able to work Tuesday, Thursday and one day on weekend.

You must:

1. Know coffee, drink coffee and love coffee!

2. Love making people smile through friendly knowledge share and chats (on coffee preferred).

3. Detailed, clean, and PUNCTUAL! Take care of your shift duties.

General duties:

- Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner.

- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to store policy and guideline.

- Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment

- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations

- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and promotions to make recommendations to customers

- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

- 1 year experience as a barista, latte art plus.

- 1 year cash handling

- 1 year customer service

- Must be able to commute independently and must be able to work morning shifts.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.15 - $24.00 per hour
