Job Summary:
Provides both bar and table service, ensuring a positive dining experience for guests. This role involves taking food and drink orders, mixing and serving beverages, managing inventory, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Giving guests quality service, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Greet and seat customers, taking orders for food and drinks.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requests, timely & with attention to detail.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet legal drinking age requirements & to ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages
- Provide guests recommendations on menu items, including beverages
- Using a POS system, with attention to accuracy.
- Serve food and beverages to tables
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Clear and reset tables and bar efficiently
- Demonstrate a positive attitude & ability to build rapport with guests to enhance their experience
- Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally
- Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
- Consistently follows all health, safety, and cleaning guidelines inline with ServeSafe protocols
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
- Adheres to restaurant policies, including opening and closing procedures
- Maintaining a friendly & professional work environment with a positive attitude.
- All other duties assigned by Manager.
Requirements:
- MUST BE AVAILABLE THURSDAYS NIGHTS (4:30-10PM)
- High school diploma (or equivalent work experience)
- 2+ years waitstaff experience in bartending and/or serving
- Active California RBS certification
- Active ServSafe Food Handlers certificate
- Ability to stand for an entire shift and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be professional at all times.
- Must engage with all members and guests.
- Knowledge of drink recipes and responsible alcohol service
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
