What is the Job?

We are seeking a PART-TIME Truck Driver & Crush Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for safely operating our truck and the Crush machinery to compact contents of open top-dumpsters – commonly found at Industrial, Manufacturing and Constructions locations. Wait, there is more…because you will be at our customer’s facilities, daily, you will also be the face of our business! That means you are our primary customer service agent, co-responsible for keeping our Crush customers happy.

Salary is $24.50/hr. There is potential to earn bonuses for new business referrals and an annual safety target.

Below is a summary of this position –in a nutshell, we need a rock-star driver to join and help build this business. A business that has an incredible selling proposition. Someone who has the energy and drive to do a great job, day in and day out without hesitation. A driver who is also super friendly and engaging, who can help answer any questions our customers have when on site. Lastly, as we grow, this role will have opportunities for advancement.

You will NOT have to lift or deliver anything.

What you will be doing

• Drive and operate our Crush truck – crushing trash all day!
• Safely and skillfully operate a 26,000lb Freightliner truck with hydraulic machine equipment.
• Properly track and document all activity using mobile devices
• Perform and coordinate daily, monthly and annual truck maintenance, inspections and cleaning
• Provide top-notch services to our customers; interacting with our customers in a friendly manner. Basically, how you would want to be talked to and engaged with.
• Proficient in the use of mobile smartphone – email/text and can quickly learn to use new mobile apps.

What we need from you is…

o Route driving experience a PLUS!

• Clean driving record and valid motor vehicle operator’s license
• This is a big truck.
• Being flexible, a consummate team player who can collaborate with others.
• A strong communicator (both oral and written), one who can write a book on organization and is extremely detailed orientated
• Strong work ethic. You are not someone who likes to be late!
• Interest in growing your career with additional responsibilities
• Able to speak English fluently.
• High School Degree required (GED acceptable)
• DOT Physical exam.

Pay

• $$24.50/hr + Bonuses.
