Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant/ Registered Nurse (RN), or an LPN to join our healthcare team.
Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake and ensure accurate documentation of medical histories.
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians and maintain accurate medication records.
- Perform basic life support (BLS) when necessary and assist in emergency situations.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management.
- Conduct allergy procedures (training will be done) and assist in outpatient settings.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care in the clinic environment.
- Maintain knowledge of ICD coding for accurate billing processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding.
- Experience in urgent care, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinic settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with EHR systems is essential for managing patient information efficiently.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications in advanced life support are a plus.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
- Experience working in Level I or Level II trauma centers is advantageous.
- Previous exposure to various specialties such as PICU, OR experience, medical-surgical units, or dermatology is highly desirable.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
