Part Time Child Care Assistant/Floater

We are looking for a part time child care assistant for the afternoons. Shift is from 2-6pm M-F, additional hours may be available. Great opportunity for recent grads or students on college summer break! Hours are in the afternoons...we close at 6pm so no late evenings! Must have a high school diploma and pass a background check.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. This role involves caring for children of various ages while supporting their developmental needs and ensuring their well-being.

Duties

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive manner.
• Assist with behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity among children and families.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in daycare, caregiving, babysitting, or similar roles is highly desirable.
• Ability to create engaging classroom activities that cater to different age groups.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and other staff members.
• A genuine love for children and a commitment to their safety and development.
